Zinező is a biannual design-periodical published by the Department of Media and Design at Eszterházy Károly University, as a highlighted project of the Graphic Design Master’s Course. A graphic design publication, whose recent foreign language articles are translated by our students, not only representing a unique graphical layout, but also the fundamental rules of typography and page composition by using a column based page setting. It’s broadsheet size is especially peculiar, as earlier this format was almost completely crowded out from daily papers, and was sliding gradually onto the different fields of unique design art. It is a complex periodical, that presents the creative artistic thought through the tools of visuality, maintaining the fundamentals of typography and traditional column based page layout. The exhibition displays the most interesting periodicals and their posters from the last 4 years, and takes place at the Telep Gallery, Budapest, between the 5th and the 24th of October 2020. ZIZI on Telep Art Gallery is a part of the official program of Budapest Art Week.
